guitarist steve nation grew up in seattle, washington, where he first started to craft his unique style and love for instrumental music.  It was there that he found his "hobby" of music was no longer the passing thing that his parents had hoped for and steve moved to nashville and immediately began playing throughout the south.  throughout his years, steve has played a variety of venues including just about every kind of arena, theatre, bar, night club, lounge, college, ski lodge, drag bar, insane asylum and political event in the u.s.  It has prepared him well for vegas.

steve nation played on dozens of records before hitting the studio for himself. below are his recordings with his band the edisons as well as a throw-together acoustic album that captured some "nice rarities".

the edisons was the self-titled debut album released in 1998 and it brought their music world-wide. "dancing with angels" stayed #1 for 6 weeks in a row on the indie charts of one popular new york radio station.

broken soul
bio

after england's dr. rock shot the edisons for a bbc special, their fans called for more and they answered with broken soul. chris hillman of the legendary byrds called them'new rock at it's finest' and even cliff richards' producer stuart coleman took notice of them in europe's industry fax, “nashville notes.”

steve's acoustic solo project venice started out with two friends jamming and ended up a full cd. recorded in nashville, tn. with some of the best sushi chef's in the south.
